El asunto es que yo no entiendo ni pio de nada de VPS, yo me he estrenado con el asunto de webhosting por mis paginas con ellos, html, wordpress, pero todo bajo el panel de control que ellos tienen, unos cuantos clicks dentro y montar el sitio y asunto arreglado.
Ahora estoy viendo la posibilidad de comprar un plan VPS con ellos para poder actualizar mi pagina que sigue funcionando pero que no puedo actualizar más desde hace dos meses.
Ellos me han enviado un mail en respuesta que la verdad me dan ganas de llorar porque no entiendo. Tengo que elegir hasta sistema operativo, y no se ni cual sera bueno. Dicen que me dejan todo instalado pero que el resto corre por mi cuenta y eso me intimida porque ya no tendre soporte tecnico gratuito con ellos. y me da panico meter las cuatro.
Osea me preocupa que por ejemplo ellos en sus planes hosting se encargaban de los hackers, virus etc. y ahora acaso tendre que ser yo?? y como hacer!!! ayuda que me recomiendan.

No me gusta el Cpanel, siempre he usado en los webhosting H-Sphere asi que entro a ciegas con el Plesk, pero en sistemas operativos recomiende cual seria el mejor, pues no tengo ni idea.
Yo no pretendo hacer ninguna extravagancia en el VPS solo quiero tener mi sitio funcionando y listo.
