El instalador del MySQL se me cuelga

se cuelga el el proceso de "Write configuration file" y estuve media hora esperando a que actualize y nada.

Que te dice el log de instalacion? ya viste el log de aplicaciones? log de errores?

Donde lo veo eso no encuentro ningun archivo log por ningun lado

Estas trabajando en widows, revisa los log de aplicaciones del event viewer para que te de mas informacion de lo que esta pasando
