Error Validacion W3c

Al intentar validar mi página me salta este error:

Yo diría que se debe a los comentarios del javascript que has metido, que no son comentarios html

No, los comentarios están bien. Lo que pasa es que hay un caracter extraño en él.

Con que le borres ese caracter ya te quedara validando
