Tengo este código de un sistema de VOTOS, funciona a la perfección, lo único es que quiero cambiar su aspecto mediante un css pero no me funciona del todo, he acá el código:

El problema es que solamente el Link VOLVER que marqué de rojo, y la frase final "Usted ya votó..." son lás únicos protegidos por las CSS, el resto del contenido, se ve grande sin protección, porque le occure esto? tiene que ver con "function displayPoll"? esa función tiene algo? como lo soluciono?
