First you must install DCOM95. This is needed to make the installation program work.<BR>

Installation is easy. Just type wine dcom95.exe to install DCOM95
After DCOM95 is installed you're ready to install Dreamweaver MX.
Type wine dreamweaver\ mx\ installer.exe to install Dreamweaver MX.
If you're having problems install, try it this way:
wine -dll ole32,oleaut32,rpcrt4=n dreamweaver\ mx\ installer.exe
After installing Dreamweaver MX you must install Windows Scripting Host. Download it at: http://download.microsoft.com/downlo...US/scr56en.exe
Install Windows Scripting Host by typing wine scr56en.exe
Now copy the following dlls to the fake_windows system directory:
commctrl,
comctl32,
imm32 and
wininet
Add the following lines to the wine config:
[AppDefaults\\dreamweaver.exe\\DllOverrides]
"commctrl" = "native"
"comctl32" = "native"
"imm32" = "native"
"msvcrt" = "native"
"wininet" = "native"
Type wine dreamweaver.exe in the installation directory to run Dreamweaver MX.
Notes:
The text color dialog on the properties window makes Dreamweaver crash, use the text color from the menu instead
