samba en fedora 3 medio funciona

Hola amigos tengo un problema configurando samba en Linux Fedora.

Tengo los siguientes puntos.

1.-No veo la red en Servidores de red>Red de windows
2.-Pero puedo montar una carpeta compartida con la opcion "Conectarme con el servidor", dandole la ip y el nombre de la carpeta que me comparte el equipo con windows.
3.-En mis sitios de red de windows veo el equipo como Samba(Fedora)pero no puedo acceder porque dice que no tengo permisos y que debo consultar con el administrador del sistema.Y que no se ha encontrado la ruta de acceso a la red
4.- Las versiones de los windows son 2003 server y 2000 server.

Aqui les pongo mi configuracion del smb.conf

Sin duda la mejor manera de administrar samba, al menos la mas sencilla es usando swat, es una herramienta web para administrar todo lo relacionado con samba.

Otra cosa es que tienes que crear usuarios para samba y darles una contraeña para poder acceder a los recursos al menos la primera vez.

Tambien hize eso...cree usuarios de samba y cree carpetas compartidas donde le decia que usuarios tenian permisos con esa carpetas.

teclee adduser nomusuario
luego smbpasswd -a nomusuario
contraseña *****

[compartida]
y en valid user = nomusuario
pero como vi que no funciono se lo quite.

Ahora dime como instalo swat en fedora 3, esta en los discos de instalacion?

o si ya esta instalado como entro?

Fedora trae la herramienta system-config-samba. Úsala.

Use esa interfaz grafica para configurar el samba, se ve sencillo ya que solo le pongo el grupo de trabajo,que sea compartido y agrego un recurso que quiero compartir y que todos puedan acceder a el. Pero no funciona. puedo conectarme a las demas pcs windows y las pcs windows ven la maquina con linux como Samba(Fedora) pero no puedo acceder.

Algo que se me acaba de ocurrir es que sera el problema que las pcs son windows son 2003 server.

Abra algun truco por ahi por no ser S.O. workstation.
