Nvidia me deja sin KDE

Hola
Tengo opensuse 11.1
Quiero instalar mi grafica y lo hago asi:
Voy a esta pagina www.es.opensuse.org/NVIDIA
Le doy onstall y me lo instala
Mi grafica es gs8400GS
Pero cuando reinicio el ordenador, me quedo solo con terminal.
No tengo KDE
He intentado init 5 o startx, pero no hay resultados.
He reinstalado opensuse otra vez, luego otra vez instalé el driver de nvidia de su pagina y otra vez lo mismo.
No tengo KDE
Otra vez tengo opensuse recien instalado, pero esta vez quiero probar otra cosa. Algo que me funccionará
Alguna sugerencia?

¿Qué significa "no tengo KDE"? ¿Acaso el driver elimina paquetes de tu disco duro?

No, no es cierto, sí hay resultados: hay un mensaje de error que te dice exactamente por qué no ha arrancado el entorno gráfico. Dinos qué pone.

Porque está mal instalado. Hubo algún problema en la compilación del módulo.
¿Estas seguro que la instalación desde la web de Suse no te dió ningún problema?

¿Y no habrás dado click en el botón incorrecto?
¿Intentaste instalar con el how-to en inglés del que aparece un vínculo en la pagina que refieres?

a mi me paso lo mismo, asique si logras resolverlo... bienvenida sea la solucion!!

pd: por culpa de eso, me pase a ubuntu :S que tiene mejor soporte para graficas... asique si logras resolverlo, estare muy agradecido de saber la solucion
