Error al instalar apache en fedora

Obtengo el siguiente error

Como puedo solucionar esto?

Fácil: deja de tratar de compilar programas por ti mismo y usa los RPMs oficiales de Fedora.

desde consola escribe : yum install httpd ....aunque no recuerdo si es httpd o apache, puedes probar yum install apache, a ver cual es...fedora core trae la herramienta de yum , que te permite instalar programas sin necesidad de compilarlos...

es que tambien "en el futuro " necesito compliar programas escritos en C, por lo que, què compilador puedo bajar para linux?

como puedo solucionar este error?

Yo NO dije "yum install gcc-4.0.3.tar.bz2". Dije simplemente "yum install gcc". yum se encarga de conectarse a Internet y descargar automáticamente el RPM de gcc junto con todas sus dependencias.

Repito: lee http://www.wikinix.org/index.php?tit...en_Linux-HowTo para que entiendas qué estás haciendo. Al parecer estás bastante perdido...

Antes de usar yum por primera vez tienes que importar las firmas digitales:

Por algo puse RPM-GPG-KEY*; eso importará TODOS los archivos que empiecen con RPM-GPG-KEY.

Ejecuta el comando tal y como te lo escribí y no deberías tener problemas.

PD. Veo que usas Fedora Core 3. Piensa que ya hace tiempo salió Fedora Core 4, y en 5 días más se lanza Fedora Core 5. En tu lugar, yo estaría pensando seriamente en una actualización.

.... Existe grandes diferencias entre fd3 y fd4? de serlo me podrias dar el link de esto,con la finalidad de ya no quitarte mas tiempo

Sí, existen varias diferencias. Principalmente la actualización de todo el software.

Fedora Core 5 trae grandes cambios; mira en http://fedora.redhat.com/docs/releas...st3-latest-en/

Te recomiendo que esperes 5 días para que puedas descargar FC5.
