desactivar modulo de sonido Cita:
instalando mi modem hsp56 mr me decia que el modem no respondia, entonces vi este faq donde venia esto, lo que he entendido hasta el momento es que debo quitar el modulo de sonido para que el modem funcione, entonces abri kwrite en rroot y fui a /etc/modules.conf y quite la linea de alias sound........... desactivandola con un #Modem not responding

minicom blocks keyboard input, this could be due to a conflict with
the sound driver (this problem has been observed in an on-board sound
system involving the SiS7018 audio controller, but may affect other
systems too). Unfortunately in this situation sound and modem support
are mutually exclusive. To use the modem it is necessary to disable
the kernel sound driver. Either use a kernel without built in sound
support, or in the case of a modularised kernel, disable loading of
the sound driver module. This can be done by editing the file
/etc/modules.conf and commenting out the line associating a sound
slot with the sound driver module, ie.
#alias sound-slot-0 trident

cuando probe aparecia lo mismo en el modem entonces reinicie y el modem hiba bien, me conecte a internet(sin sonido claro) y al reiniciar el sonido se escuchaba entonces hice lo mismo, reinicie y me seguia diciendo q el modem no responde entonnces vi el archivo y aparecia la linea alias sound-slot-0 trident al final del archivo, osea que se coloco automaticamente.. igual en varios intentos al eliminar la linea y reiniciar me sigue apareciendo esa linea.. alguien podria decirme de que otra forma podria hacer esto ?
