menu estatico con frames

hola a todos soy nouevo en esto de java asi que necesito de su valiosa ayuda, mi problema es el siguente:

tengo una pagina con dos marcos uno izquierdo pequeño de unos 120 px y el otro es el derecho que es el del contenido, en el marco izquierdo tengo un menu estatico echo en javascripts como ago para cuando le doy click en los link del menu estos se muestren en el frame de la derecha.

Creo que algo asi es lo que quieres hacer,
esto es una solución en HTML:
Coloca un "target" antes del "href", algo asi:

<a target="nombre del marco de destino" href="vinculo.htm">Pulsame</a>

Despues del "target" coloca el nombre del marco derecho, es decir, el nombre que le asignastes a tu marco.
