No puedo acceder a los archivos de ubuntu en mi portatil con windows

No puedo acceder a los archivos de ubuntu en mi portatil con windows

Hola, tengo montada una red con un ordenador con ubuntu 7.04, un portatil con window$ y una xbox. Pues bien en mi ordenador con ubuntu puedo ver y modificar los archivos del portatil, al igual que desde la xbox puedeo ver peliculas que se encuentran en el portatil. Pero desde el portatil y desde la xbox me aparece el ordenador ubuntu pero no me deja ver las carpetas. En windows ubuntu me aparece con algo parecido a esto "(none)Ubuntu, Samba ((none))".

Algunos de los pasos que he seguido han sido estos:

-En el workgroup de smb.conf e indicado Casa, que es como se llama el grupo en windows y en la xbox.

-He dado permisos a varias carpetas con "sudo chown nobody:nogroup (ruta de la carpeta)" y "sudo chmod 755 (ruta de la carpeta).

- También he cambiado en smb.conf la linea security y he puesto "security = share".

La cosa es que cuando pongo en el navegador de mi ordenador con ubuntu la IP de este, me salen las carpetas a las cuales he dado permiso y puedo navegar por ellas, pero en el portatil con windows y en la xbox, me sale la carpeta del grupo de trabajo y dentro de ella mi ordenador con ubuntu pero no me deja de acceder dentro de esta.

Espero que alguién me diga donde puede estar el error ya que he llegado a una via muerta y no se que hacer.

Muchas gracias, he intentado con los enlaces que me indicas pero hay algo que debo de hacer mal. A continuacion dejo mi smb.conf, por si hay alguien que pueda ver el error. Muchas gracias a todos.
