¿que es esto?

Hola Amigos,

Tengo un dedicado en Theplanet (ahora softlayer) y tengo desde los últimos meses tengo muchos problemas sobretodo con clientes que tengo alojado en ese servidor y que utilizan fundeamentalmente Moviestar como ISP para acceder a su web o correo.

Las paginas aveces no las ven y los correos (pOP3) derrepente no encuentra el servidor..etc.

Despues de darle al coco, creo que es un problema de enrutamiento, por alguna razon el servidorse se cae y derepente los clientes de telefonica no enrutan con la web ni el correo.
Los del Theplanet me dicen que todo va bien, pero yo tengo esto os pongo a continuación. A ver si alguien me dice de que va. Si tengo q dejar a esta gente la dejo y via. Pero esta claro que algo no va bien.

Esa alerta es propia de Softlayer (ThePlanet) e indica lapsos en los que el servidor está caído.
Aunque es ciero también que ThePlanet ha tenido problemas de conectividad con telefónica en el pasado. Es cuestión de hacer un par de pruebas de rutas con traceroute y mtr para determinar si es un problema del datacenter, de telefónica o de un nodo intermedio.

Grcias Webtech, muy interesante...problemas con telefonica no sabia..de saberlo no me la jugaba...

Que me aconsejas con lo de Planet ¿por que tantas caidas?..puedo reclamarles un nuevo server..?
en cuanto a telefonica me trae de pta cabaza más de 60 de mis clientes tienen con telefonica y todos tienen problemas ..que me aconsejas hacer?

El soporte de softlayer es más que suficiente para servidores NO manejados, ellos únicamente te dan soporte en temas referidos a hardware y conectividad, el resto debes arreglártelas solo. Si quieres servicios con soporte dedicado super rápido y a la vez eficaz, estoy seguro que tendrás que elevar mucho más tu presupuesto.
