Problema con Wordpress (themes)

Hola a todos,

los molesto porque me encuentro con el siguiente problema:

En mi ordenador he instalado el XAMPP para poder probar el correcto funcionamiento (mas cuando estoy sin conexion) de la pagina web hecha en WordPress.

Problema: Imagen destacada

Detalle: las imagenes que utilizo para poner como opcion destacada (las que van a aparecer en la pagina principal del site) son mostradas perfectamente en mi ordenador con XAMPP, pero al subirlo a un servidor con PHP MySQL no las muestra quedando el index sin imagenes pero si con el texto que lo caracteriza (en su lugar figura un cuadro en blanco).

Importante: Desde el Servidor (No mi PC c/XAMMP) estando en la administracion de WordPresss, cuando cargo las imagenes y selecciono cual quiero como destacada me muestra la libreria y la imagen destacada en lo que respecta al armado. Luego actualizo (para que las opciones tengan efecto). Pero al ver la pagina no aparece.

Timthumb puede arrojar esas fallas dependiendo de la configuración de tu servidor... Además algunas versiones del script son vulnerables.

Consideraste usar la función the_post_thumbnail de WordPress? Hace lo mismo que timthumb y es nativa de WP.

Segundo, no, no he probado pues, te soy sincero y directo, no sabria como usarlo.

Si me puedes aclarar el panorama seria estupendo.

Hola sobre la función the_post_thumbnail que debes utilizar, te doy lo que puedes usar.

Código PHP:

  if ( has_post_thumbnail() ) {
    the_post_thumbnail();
} 
   

Si tienes una imagen destacada en tu post, entonces a la hora que pongas ese código en donde quieras va a aparecer la imagen que elegiste. Si no estas muy convencido escribe masomenos con tu codigo que tienes para guiarte en donde lo debes poner.

Para poner diferentes tamaños de imagen, en tu functions.php deberás usar la función add_image_size

Ya estaba puesto, vino en el theme. Creo que es un buen dato decir el nombre del theme "Avenue" (inmobiliaria - alquiler y venta de inmuebles).

Es un theme premium, pedile soporte al autor del theme que te va a poder orientar muchisimo mejor que nosotros.
