Problema con timthumb,, en localhost iva bien

Hola, estoy creando mi web, y la he probado en localhost y iva perfecta, se creaban las miniaturas perfectas, pero lo subo al host de nixiweb, y el timthumb no funciona, las imagenes no se hacen pequeñas, es que ni salen las imagenes, por ejemplo: [URL="http://geekyplanet.com.ar/wp-content/themes/Reporter/timthumb.php?src=http://geekyplanet.com.ar/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/facebook-vs-google-339-1024x770.jpg&h=150&w=200&zc=1"]Miren[/URL]

EN teoria, tendriais que ver una imagen reducida, en localhost si que va bien, en nixiweb no... que hago??

Pusiste una carpeta /cache/ con permisos 777 o 755 para que el plugin genere las miniaturas?

Ahh y no es un plugin, es un archivo timthumb.php

El "error" pasa por la configuración de tu servidor.

Fijate de usar la última versión de timthumb
http://code.google.com/p/timthumb/so...k/timthumb.php

Y probá llamar la URL de la imagen con una ruta relativa y no absoluta para ver si safás del "open_basedir restriction in effect."

Sino podés intentar modificar el script

Lo he intentado, pero esa funcion no está en el timthumb

Bueno ya está solucionado. Solo tuve que cambiar mi timthumb.php por este: http://www.000webhost.com/forum/attachments/spanish-forum/527d1316666672-problema-thubnails-wordpress-ayuda-timthumb.zip
