Tienes que buscar en el httpd.conf del apache algo como esto:
<Directory />
Options FollowSymLinks
AllowOverride None
</Directory>
Y cambias el FollowSymLinks por All, de forma que quede así:
<Directory />
Options All
AllowOverride None
</Directory>
Y luego reinicia el Apache.
