Description:
This is the first known virus that can infect Shockwave Flash object files, *.SWF files. It drops a V.COM file, which Trend Micro antivirus detects as LFM.926. It uses V.COM to infect other *.SWF files.
This virus only infects Windows NT and Windows 2000 machines. It does not have a destructive payload.
Solution:
Trend Micro considers this virus to be a very low risk and detection will be available in the next official pattern release, which is made available weekly, on Tuesday. This virus is listed here to keep our customers informed about on-going virus research.
