Realice lo que me dijiste
Lo que me sale es:
#1045 - Access denied for user: 'root@localhost' (Using password: YES)
Es mas busque respuesta por otra parte y tambien realice lo que me dijeron:
Si quieres que phpMyAdmin funcione, después de poner la password al usuario root debes hacer lo siguiente:
Cerrar el phpMyAdmin (la página web)
Editar (con block de notas) el fichero config.inc.php
Buscar esta cadena: $cfgServers[1]['password'] = ''
Insertar la password entre las '' con lo que quedaría así: $cfgServers[1]['password'] = 'pepe'
Guardar los cambios... y listo
