Error Xubuntu perl: warning: Setting locale failed

Buen dia Usuarios Foros del Web tengo el siguiente problema en mi recien instalado sistema linux Xubuntu el problema es el siguiente cuando quiero instalar algo por ejemplo
sudo apt-get install aptitude
me sale el siguiente error al dar Y aceptando instalar lo que quiero descargar
