error en joomla. Warning: file_exists() [function.file-exists]: open_basedir restrict

Buenas, soy diseñador gráfico, y solía trabajar con un Ingeniero en sistemas que se encargaba de la parte de código de los sitios, pero consiguió un trabajo mejor pago, y se retiró. dejándome solo con los código.

En fin, el problema es que teníamos un joomla funcionando muy bonito, y perfectamente que hoy, encontre este problema al intentar ingresar.

Revise que estén todos los directorios, y si ahi están, todos en la misma carpeta. y como solía funcionar, ahora no sé por qué no lo hace.

Alguien podría ayudarme?

Estuve leyendo en el foro, encontre este tema, "http://www.forosdelweb.com/f18/open_basedir-restriction-effect-276369/" pero no me parecio que fuera el mismo error.

Alguna idea?
