error con startx + ssh en ubuntu server

hola,
cuando quiero ejecutar startx

onirico@onirico-server:~$ startx

desde putty me sale este mensaje:

aca lo corto con ctrl+c porque se queda pensando sin hacer nada y me sale este mensaje.

Que estoy haciendo mal?
