Buenas es básicamente el titulo, tengo un vps con WHM vps optimized 3 y en las opciones de configuración del server me sale la opción:

CGIEmail and CGIEcho treat all files under the public_html directory as potential templates. This allows an attacker to view the contents of any file under public_html that contains the special "[" and "]" CGIEmail template characters. Disabling CGIEmail and CGIEcho is recommended to prevent this behavior.
Y ahí me dice en ingles que estas funciones traen problemas de seguridad y que es recomendables deshabilitarlas, aunque por defecto vienen habilitadas.
Bueno quería preguntarles si deshabilitando esto me seguirá funcionando la función mail() de php que se usa en muchas de las webs que tengo alojadas.
