cambiar php.ini con .htaccess

no lo he podido resolver

usando echo getwd() la ruta que obtengo es esta:

/home/domains/misitioweb.org/web/pages/administracion/album_photos/php.ini

cree un php.ini con las directivas que quiero pero siempre obtengo el siguiente error:

Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. Please contact the server administrator, and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error. tambien probe estas rutas:

suPHP_ConfigPath/home/domains/misitioweb.org/web/pages/administracion/album_photos/php.ini

esta es donde esta el php.ini original
/etc/suphp/php.ini /home/domains/misitioweb.org/web/pages/administracion/album_photos/php.ini


alguien me puede ayudar?

al parecer no se poner bien la ruta.
