Hola Iván,
El problema puedes tenerlo en la configuración de tu apache.
Accede al httpd.conf y busca si tienes algo de este tipo
AddHandler application/x-httpd-php .php .php4 .php3 .html
AddType application/x-httpd-php .html
Hay que indicar que extensiones tiene que procesar PHP
