Well, the British navy was possibly the strongest at the beginning of the 18th century. Only France and probably Spain was to his height. In the first half of the 18th century, after the stabilization of the Bourbon house, Spain turned again into a great naval power, and with Blas de Lezo's crushing victory in the siege of Cartagena de Indias, Spain tuned into the first naval power of the world... Until there appeared the most extraordinary sailor of all the times (with permission of De Lezo), Nelson.

Certainly, with Nelson's appearance, Great Britain was undoubtedly the first naval power after Trafalgar's battle. But I hope CA is not rude with the spanish doing to the Spanish navy below the british navy, since this is not true. The naval Spanish navy was so or more powerful than the british one, but it was more careless. Haven't you heard speaking about the ship "Santísima Trinidad", the greatest ship of line ever build? If CA does not allow to the Spanish to construct it, I will get angry very much.

While the Spanish had to stoop their trousers with the Villeneuve's inept one, last their payments slowed down that owed the Spanish Crown to them and they owed loyalty to one of the worst monarches ever existed (Carlos IV); the Britishers had Nelson, they had right on the booties of war, they charged his pays when they had to, and in addition his crew was, maybe, the most expert that it had ever furrowed the seas.

Without Nelson and without Villeneuve, the result of Trafalgar's battle might have been different. I hope that the guys of CA bear it in mind not to do a game centred on the " English adoration ". They should read many books of history.

Pues eso, que si alguien quiere echarme una mano, es este el thread:
